Wardrobe is the first industrial design project of the spanish fashion designer Carla Cervara. In this work she mixed the art of stuff-taxidermy with the couture in order to build this armchair . Wardrobe is a clever and renewable design. It is a handcrafted wooden chair, which has a collection of cushions that you can play to make different compositions, also sewn by hand. The project was selected by Homeless Design, a platform to bring new talent to the fore, for the Homeless design showroom in Milan during the Salone del Mobile in 2012. The exhibition showcases design small-scale production of handmade objects that utilise recycled and upcycled materials for minimal cost.
