German automotive company Volskwagen has released this ad earlier this week of a guy walking into a store with a ski mask on. The ad even features the Trololo song in the background. The ad was put together by Deustch, a company known for putting together some of the best viral ads including many Super Bowl commercials. Check out the ad below:
The SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal) in Auckland, New Zealand, desired to show that abandoned dogs can be loving and aren’t second-class animals. In order to convey this message and show how smart these dogs are, they worked together with trainer Mark Vette, MINI New Zealand and advertising company DraftFCB to teach them how to drive. The Young Director Award showcases and rewards some of the most talented young directors from across the globe. The new tagline: “Directing, it’s in your bones,” is a nod to the successful “Born to Create Drama” campaign from 2010. The film shows a young boy who bluntly walks in on his parents in bed together and starts giving them instructions on how to improve their performance.

On February 2011, 10 popular artists assumed temporary ownership of a brand new white Volvo S60. This marked the start of a public work-in-progress art event spread over five days. Each artist approached the challenge in a very different way, but the results led to some truly fascinating creations from across the spectrum of imagination and design. The true star of the Volvo Art Session 2011, however, was the car company itself for devising such a culturally pervasive marketing initiative that is sure to keep people talking about the S60 for months to come.
